INSTAGRAM | SOUNDCLOUD | SPOTIFY Alex Farell is one of the youngest DJ’s of the hard techno and hard dance movement. He started producing music at just 12 years old from his home in Liverpool whilst still at school. That quickly turned into playing at clubs two years later, at just 14 years old, where he had to legally be chaperoned to the clubs. Once he turned 18, with 4 years’ experience already under his belt, it opened up the world for the young phenomenon. At the age of 15 he signed a track to Reckless Records, which led to many more on a multitude of labels, releases that were pivotal to his career development. These early releases started to blow up, with key support from many DJ’s at some of the biggest shows, and gained him a lot of recognition, leading to a signing to Teletech’s JINN Agency in 2020, and his landmark debut for Boiler Room at the age of 16 that went viral. In 5 years, Alex has secured a substantial collection of releases, including tracks on Exhale HEKATE, Masked Rules, Teletech, ELEKTRA and We Are The Brave. Notably his biggest releases were his ‘3am In Berlin’ single on Reckless as part of their VA in 2024, and the massive collaboration single ‘Prisoner’ with Sara Landry on HEKATE in May 2024, since then Alex has released a collab with MXGN on Teletech, and two further singles ‘Shiva’ a collab with GALLØ and ‘Comfort In Chaos’ with MXGN on HEKATE, both of which will appear on his debut album in October 2026. After performing at Boiler Room at just 16, he made his debut at Creamfields in 2024, followed by key plays for Parklife Festival, Blackstone Warehouse, Emerge Festival, Terminal V and Warehouse Project. This year he completed a big 4 date tour in Australia and will return to the USA and Asia for tours after summer. However, 2026 will be the biggest milestone year of this young producer’s career, with his debut album ‘Youngest In Charge’ to be released this October, on HEKATE. He and Sara have formed a close relationship, and after many releases on the label already, it couldn’t be a better home for this special project that really shows Alex’s creativeness and confidence that are helping to define his artistic identity.
