JP is one of the leading artists in the Dutch scene since he started his DJ career in the early 1990s. Back in the day he headlined numerous legendary underground house events and was - and still is - of big importance to the development of the Dutch dance scene. As a DJ and as part owner of the well-known Amsterdam record store Groove Connection, JP inspired hundreds of youngsters who later became well-known DJs themselves. As a true pioneer he has always been ahead of things, introducing the Dutch audience to new styles like trance and hard house. With his outstanding mixing techniques on 3 decks, he has rocked the scene with more varied styles than almost any other DJ. Since his introduction of hard-edge house at the first edition of the world's leading dance festival Dance Valley, and as resident DJ for the notorious monthly HQ club nights in Amsterdam, he is seen as the Dutch ambassador of the harder styles. Over the years JP has accumulated experiences from many different international scenes, playing successfully in South Africa, Colombia, Japan and beyond. During his HQ residency JP released four successful live-mixed compilations in the Benelux territory, all of which reached classic status. Está atualmente em #4.869 no ranking global do BookedDJ.
