Profile
DJ Vibes has been a full time professional DJ since January 1992. Norwegian-born Kim Stensbøl started to play keyboards at the age of 6. His father, a musician in Norway at the time, was the reason for Kim's musical interest at this early age - an interest that has grown stronger over the years. He started to hang with some of the more known local Disc Jockeys and at age 12 in 1989 he became responsible for the music at a youth club in his neighbourhood. He started out spinning records in Oslo and went on to play more than 35 clubs in the city alone. For over 18 years he played in over 140 different clubs around Norway and was resident at some 20 clubs during those years. DJ Vibes is well known for being a very versatile all-round DJ. His musical passion lies mainly in funky, electro and progressive house music. His basic playing style today covers everything from cheesy funky disco house to a more progressive Latino, tribal and electro style. Currently #7,119 in the BookedDJ global ranking.
