Profile
This man is a passionate and relentless addict and purveyor of techno as long as it’s hypnotic, funky, emotive and weird. He’s been at it for 30 years now, setting alight dance floors across the globe at many of the major events and clubs, and is happy playing alongside anyone from Sasha to Tristan, from Carl Cox to Nick Warren, Damian Lazarus to Eat Static, Skrillex to X-dream or Quivver to Astrix. He is a true sonic chameleon who constantly blurs the lines of what constitutes trance, house or techno. His productions grace not only his own labels, but also the likes of Kompakt, Bedrock, onedotsixtwo, j00f, Twisted, iboga, Flow, Rennaisance, Nano, Proton Music amongst many others. With releases constantly scheduled and gigs all over the world, his star continues to rise. He is loved and adored by his countless followers, who regardless of the style he plays, always know they’re in for a sublime ride… As one of the pioneers of the early UK trance explosion in the early 90s, James is no stranger to the Pstrance. With 100s of releases to his name, James is not just a sensational DJ, but a prolific and talented producer, and turns his hand to all styles of music – always with a strong psychedelic edge. Currently #7,115 in the BookedDJ global ranking.
