Profile
It was back in 1995 when Andy Pickles and Amadeus Mozart set up Tidy, which went on to become the biggest hard house label and one of the world’s leading clubbing brands. However, it wasn’t until March 1999 that the pair performed their first DJ set together. As founders of the Tidy Trax empire, the duo built a front-running label in hard dance, creating a platform that allowed them to showcase their skills behind the decks at thousands of events across the globe. Before The Tidy Boys’ journey began, both Amadeus and Andy had already established prolific careers individually as DJs and producers. Under the name Hyperlogic, they scored a major crossover hit in 1995 with ‘Only Me’. After working with major record labels, they decided to set up their own — Tidy Trax — which went on to become the world’s biggest hard house label and the best-selling vinyl label in Europe during the late 90s. They also played a key role in producing and developing other major artists, helping to launch the careers of Lisa Lashes, Anne Savage, Eddie Halliwell and many more. Alongside this, they achieved significant album success with the Hard House Euphoria series, earning multiple gold discs. The creativity, passion and humour they’ve brought to their work — whether in the studio, across albums, on Tidy TV or in their live sets — has inspired many. Never taking themselves too seriously, The Tidy Boys have always had their tongue firmly in cheek, while proving themselves as natural entertainers who genuinely enjoy what they do. From hosting their own events at Magna in Sheffield to the legendary Tidy Weekenders, they’ve also headlined major festivals with their own arenas at Creamfields, Godskitchen Global Gathering, Escape Into The Park, PlanetLove Festival and Dance Valley. Along the way, they’ve delivered memorable Ibiza moments, including surprise sets with Dave Pearce and Judge Jules. Currently #8,137 in the BookedDJ global ranking.
