In just eight striking and tightly woven tracks, the record captures the full scope of her artistry — both expansive and restrained. For over 25 years, since her solo debut Flightsafety (1999), Wright has carved out a singular path, crafting songs that burn with rock intensity or ache with poignant balladry. Her always-heart-stirring melodies are adorned with layered vocals and strings, the warm tones of a Wurlitzer, and her unmistakable touch on guitar and piano. Though born out of solitude and marked by themes of illness and grief, Reservoir of Love radiates energy, and overflows with light and love.
