Emotional depth, melodic precision, and a live energy that audiences don’t just hear but feel — that defines the XiJaro & Pitch experience. XiJaro & Pitch are Xander van Dommelen and Anthony Reyers — a Dutch-Belgian trance duo creating music that moves people, shaped by a story that resonates just as deeply. Anthony was nine years old when trance music found him. Born blind due to a rare genetic condition that will eventually take his hearing too, he had never seen a mixing desk or watched a DJ perform — yet by thirteen, he was hosting his own FM radio show in Belgium. The music was all that mattered, and it still is. Around the same time in the Netherlands, a teenage Xander was discovering trance through A State Of Trance and the golden era of Dutch electronic music, already crafting mashups and megamixes of his own. When the two connected online, the creative chemistry was immediate, and in 2014, XiJaro & Pitch was born. Since then, the duo has released a consistent and evolving body of work across influential labels including Armada Music, Black Hole Recordings, FSOE, Anjunabeats, and Subculture, building a catalogue that balances emotional depth with peak-time power. That same philosophy defines their live sets, where original productions are woven seamlessly with unexpected mashups and remixes—blending trance with everything from Queen and Coldplay to Lady Gaga and the Avengers. These moments of surprise have become a defining and much-loved part of the XiJaro & Pitch live experience. In 2025, the duo reached a major career milestone, with three XiJaro & Pitch tracks breaking into Top 25 positions in the A State Of Trance Top 50—a clear indicator of their growing presence on the genre’s most influential radio platform. That momentum continues into 2026 with a forthcoming remix for Armin van Buuren, alongside new releases on FSOE, Revealed Recordings, Dreamstate Records, and their own imprint, Chasing Dreams Music. Within the project, Xander serves as the architect—shaping the duo’s layered, precisely crafted soundscapes—while Anthony brings the emotional instinct, both in the studio and on stage. He pours everything into every performance, knowing his time with the music may not last forever. That balance of precision and feeling is what makes the project connect so strongly, and why they’ve taken to stages at EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, Transmission, A State Of Trance, UNTOLD, Dreamstate, Creamfields, Dance Valley, and many more festivals and clubs worldwide. Beyond the stage, Chasing Dreams has grown into one of trance music’s most community-driven platforms, spanning a long-running podcast and livestream, a mix compilation, a record label championing emerging talent, and now also their own club nights. Through various fundraising initiatives, they have raised over $100,000 for charity, driven by the belief that the impact of music should extend beyond the speakers. Now working on their debut artist album, the duo are entering their most ambitious chapter yet—a long-form project designed to capture the full emotional scope of their sound. It’s the culmination of two artists who found each other through melody, spent a decade shaping it into something uniquely their own, and are now ready to tell that story in full.
