Born Frederico Farias in Tubarão, Santa Catarina, Classmatic has emerged as one of the most exciting new names in tech house. Over the course of more than a decade, he has grown from a passionate young DJ and producer experimenting with beats in Brazil to a global artist gracing the stages of some of the most iconic clubs and festivals worldwide. Classmatic’s career truly began in the clubs and underground spaces of his hometown, where he first developed a love for DJing. After almost nine years of producing music, he released a defining track in 2022: "Toma Dale." Released on Jamie Jones’ celebrated Hot Creations label and created in partnership with Dominican artist Nfasis, “Toma Dale” quickly became a summer anthem, gaining heavy play in Ibiza and beyond. The success of “Toma Dale” opened up new opportunities for Classmatic, setting the stage for a series of international tours and appearances that brought his music to the world. Following this breakthrough, Classmatic’s schedule became a whirlwind of performances and collaborations. He has since appeared at iconic venues like EDC Las Vegas, Space Miami, Warung Beach Club, Hï Ibiza, and Club Vibe. Whether performing in front of thousands at festivals or more intimate club settings, Classmatic brings a contagious energy to the stage, capturing the crowd’s attention with his skillful selections and a talent for reading the room.
