A true pioneer of the French techno scene, DJ Ralph has one of the strongest track records among French DJs. He started promoting electronic music as early as 1991 through the legendary Tekmics agency, working alongside leading techno figures such as Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills and Sven Vath. Deeply involved in developing young artists, he was the first to believe in the potential of Miss Kittin & The Hacker, a year before releasing his first maxi "Why Not" in 1997. Over time, DJ Ralph crossed musical barriers and broadened his sound, notably after meeting Joachim Garraud in the early 2000s. His own career then took on an international scale, including a signing to the Swedish label Joia in 2009, following an earlier affiliation with David Guetta's label, where he was one of the first artists signed. His tracks have been played and playlisted by major DJs worldwide, including Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Groove Armada and Robbie Rivera. He tours the five continents every year, playing prestigious festivals and clubs from Las Vegas and Miami to Ibiza and beyond. Collaborations with Avicii further raised his international profile. Creator of Electro Addict, a clubbing community, he also handles artistic programming, management and booking for many artists, and directs programming for venues and festivals such as Pop Plage in Annecy (FR) and Le Village Du Soir in Geneva (CH). His single "Redemption" arrived on Jango, alongside a remix of Toma Hawk's "Velvet" for Lakota. The "Follow Me" remix with Joris Mulen revived a legendary anthem. A return to techno roots followed with "Protocol 19" on UndGrd, then 2020 singles "Badaboom" and "Unlockdown" (with a notable remix by Toma Hawk and Dr.Acid). In 2021 he released "Crusher Punch", "Bonjour" and "Lifeline" featuring Vic Tall. He has continued with a resolutely tech-house and techno sound, including "The Underground" on UNDGRD. His set at Tomorrowland Winter 2022 and at the Folie Douce festival confirmed his place as a leader and founding figure of the French techno landscape.
